Possible: Many medications can exhibit mild adverse effects on the liver, and not unusual to see slight elevations of liver enzymes. No need to stop med unless the elevation is more than 3 times normal, in most cases. Talk to your doc about whether you should continue gabapentin.

Maybe: That dose of Gabapentin should not cause liver inflammation or impairment in a normally functioning liver. That said, 3-4 points above normal for lab value could easily be lab error or insignificant. Many drugs are metabolized by the liver so in evaluating changes in liver enzymes you need to look at everything you're taking - even tylenol (acetaminophen). It could be a combination of meds.

Liver enzymes: Mild elevation in liver enzymes calls for repeat liver function tests. Consult your primary care doc.
