Could be...: A bunch of things. It could be originating from your digestive system - reflux can cause a sour taste. It also could be from an infection which can sometimes lead to a tinny or citrus-like taste. See a dentist for a quick check to rule out anything bad and then see if it persists.

Evaluation: I suggest that you see your dentist who can take a complete and thorough medical and dental history and after personally examining you, hopefully determine the cause of your issue. It may be necessary to also refer you to a physician for a medical evaluation, if there is no apparent dental cause.
