Yes: Most list an average of 6 months trying until success with a desired pregnancy.Irregular cycles may make it hard to "time" conception but nature tends to work that out if you quit worrying.If you have gone a year without success, a consultation with a fertility center by both partners would be reasonable.They can sort out issues and provide info on assisted reproduction if needed.
