Nerve compression: Often as we sleep we lie on the nerves of the arm or compress the nerves in the neck. Upon awakening there is a period of dysfunction as the nerves recover. Take a few moments to massage and exercise the arms to improve blood flow and recover function. Then go about normal activities. Discuss these issues with your doctor.
