Cycles are different: It seems you are concerned about pregnancy because your menses is late. It's very common for women to have changes in the length of their cycle. One month it might be 28 days and the next month 35 days. You can't gauge whether you are pregnant based on being "late" for your menstrual period. If you are pregnant then the home pregnancy test will usually be positive one week after your missed period.
