Can anyone but a dentist issue a treatment plan?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Marguerite Myers
44 years experience in Dentistry
Yes: The treatment coordinator is a professionally trained adjunctive member of the dental team. The dentist does the diagnosis, and treatment planning. However, the treatment coordinator sets up the specifics of appointment scheduling, financial arrangements, insurance questions, and so forth.
