My eye suddenly seems as if it has blood on the inner layer. any ideas on what this is? also treatment?

Visible blood: If you can see blood over the white part of the eye, it is not something to worry about. This is called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, and is caused by coughing, sneezing, lifting heavy weights etc. No treatment is needed or possible. Just like a bruise, it will go away!
