Cervical cyst: A cervical nabothian cyst does not need to be removed. It is ver different from an abscess.

No: Nabothian cysts are normal for the cervix. They can get enlarged but are usually self resolving. It will get smaller with time. An abscess is the body's way of "walling" off an infection. White blood cells go to the area of the infection and try to clear the infection...That is the formation of the abscess.
