IT PROBABLY IS: It probably is your period unless it has come after you have had your period or not expecting your period.
If so and it is large and you keep bleeding, consult your gynecologist.

Gynecologic eval: Your symptoms may be physiologic (ie. normal) or may be secondary to hormonal imbalances or other causes. It is always good to meet with your primary care provider or gynecologist (especially if symptoms worsen or you're planning to get prenant).
