Just had a cbc done and my platelet count was 361, should i be concerned?

Likely not: Typically, a normal platelet count in a healthy individual is between 150, 000 and 450, 000. Oftentimes, bloodwork results will list the actual number in the hundreds (i.e. 361 like your case), implying a result of 361, 000. However to confirm, i would review the results with the ordering physician.

Probably not: In most labs a normal PLT count goes from 140-440.

No: Normal platelet counts range from 150 to 450 k per mm3. There is nothing to worry about unless your doctor has any other reason for ordering this test.
