Yes: Sinusitis can block the eustacean tube in one or both ears and cause a change in inner ear pressure. This, or general ear, nose, throat inflammation and swelling may trigger tinnitus. Otc treatments like temporary (3 days) use of nose sprays (except nasal saline which can be used for long periods), anti-histamines and mucus thinners can help. Otherwise, see your primary care doc or an ENT doc.
