Family Medicine 18 years experience
Outdoor medicine: Wilderness medicine is broadly defined by medicine performed outside of the traditional office or hospital setting. This may encompass traumas or infectious disease management on a trail or in an urban disaster area such as haiti, just to mention a few settings. I would refer you to the website of the wilderness medical society for more details. Thanks for the question.
