Depends: Some family doctors may be willing to diagnosis adhd, but others may ask that you see a specialist (either psychiatrist or psychologist) to help ensure that the symptoms you are experiencing are truly related to adhd and not some other issue. Your family doctor is a great place to start expressing your concerns.

Private Practice: You'll have more time and fun healthtaping in private practice. At the end of the the day, they are all good and it depends on your personality. Its often hard to decide so you start in one place and if you're not happy, you move on. Its one of the few privileges of being a doctor. As long as you can help one person a day while you're happy, you'll be fine where ever you are.
