Thermal imaging: Uses a heat sensitive camera to detect temperature changes on the body's surfact that correlate with underlying function. This a non radiation fucntional imaging that can indicate disease or cancer in underlying tissue. Very sensitive and can have false positives. Has picked up changes due to breast cancer up to 8 years prior to a mammogram.
