Anaphylaxis kit: An anaphylaxis kit generally contains the medications needed to treat acute anaphylaxis. Epi-pen is standard of care for treating anaphylaxis and should be included. Depending on the physician, other medicines may include Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and/or steroids. An emergency card that has the numbers to your physician, emergency contacts, and the local hospital should be included.
