No aura: Migraine without aura are also known as the common migraine. These migraines are more prevalent than the classic migraine type and about 80% of patients who have migraines, have migraine without aura.

Not complicated: We are seeing many patients with severe migraine with severe pain, photophobia, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, weak, sweaty, pale, tremulous, miserable that takes hours to resolve. These are still considered common due to not being complicated by visual illusions, hemiparesis, ophthalmoplegia, or stroke - like features. The distinction common vs complex is not easy nor is it clinically useful.
