Drug allergy: All medications including implanted Progesterone only contraceptives can cause allergic reactions. Immediate hypersensitivity reactions consist of hives, flushing, itching, swelling, GI symptoms, respiratory symptoms and cardiovascular effects. Delayed hsr can manifest as a bumpy red rash that itches or blisters. Is your reaction diffuse or only at site of implantation?
