What is the definition or description of: back trauma?

Back trauma: Any injury to the spine could be considered back trauma. Classically the back includes the thoracic and lumbar spine.

Back trauma: Injury to the posterior part of the body that runs from the neck to the pelvis. This may include bone, muscle, tendon, nerve, disc, ligament, & vessels.

Injury: Trauma implies an injury of some sort : mva-sports injury-a fall- gun shot- fall down- off a horse…also the injury is from lifting 2 much or awkwardly. There r many more examples but waking up with back pain does not always imply trauma tho it could if u can recall a specific incident from the day or 2 prior.
