Walking during sleep: Sleepwalking is a disorder of arousal characterized by short simple behavior or longer wandering episodes, with the completion of complex but purposeless tasks and memory impairment for the event (american academy of sleep medicine 2005). Episodes usually occur in the first 3 hours of the night and the disorder may run in families.
