Get this checked out: Any symptom that lasts this long is important to investigate. It may be something as simple as gastro-espophageal reflux where food from the stomach sloshes up into the esophagus and may lead to cough or even wheezing. You didn't mention if you are or have been a smoker. Your doctor may want to "image" your chest via xray or ct scan. But do get this evaluated. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
