Knee arthroscopy: If medial meniscus tear, limit pivot, twist, turn, and kneeling. If acl tear, consider brace and limit quick turns and stops. If mcl, limit clipping activities. If significant tears that cause locking and giving way, will likely need knee arthroscopy by your orthopedic surgeon.

Go elsewhere: Assuming that you do not live in an area where there is only one MRI scanner or center, and that your insurance carrier is not restricting or limiting where you can go for the study, take your doctor's order or script and call to any MRI center that will schedule you sooner. and accept your insurance.
