A member asked:

Can you determine anything about heart health from looking at someone's face? i.e. color, shapes, other clues on face?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: Diagnosis of problems rely on listening to the patient, examining the paitens and finally tests. Obviously many things can be discovered by closely looking. An example - a small skin tag found under the eyes called a xanthelasma can be a sign of high cholesterol. This can be an early warning of increased risk of heart disease.
