Premature baby: All babies are different and one cannot predict what your baby may or may not suffer. Yes! most 24 weekers are prone to certain life long complications but I have encountered some 24 weekers, now 5-7 yrs old, leading a completely normal life with no trace of their prematurity at the time of birth.

Abnormalities?: Down to the chromosomal level? Gross abnormalities are unlikely but there are no guarantees. How often do we test and find unexpected things that we pursue at great cost and iatrogenically induced anxiety, unnecessarily--the so-called red herrings of medicine?
