Usually result of...: Untreated chlamydia. Can take years to occur. Tubes can be opened non-surgically sometimes with insufflation, simply injecting air. Can also be opened laporascopically. I would put you and spouse on a course of zithromycin or doxycycline, nonethless.

No: Many times tubes are not really blocked when we think they are in. If the tubes are truly blocked the only options are ivf, surgical repair and passage of a wire to open them up. While the later two options are less artificial than ivf, they are procedures and not "natural.".
