Depends on cause: Hydrocephalus does not cause incontinence. If you have poor bladder control, you need to find out the cause. Is there a defect in nerve control of the bladder? Is there a defect in ureters or bladder sphincters? Do you have recurrent infections? Is the bladder spastic or flaccid? Is there reflux? A thorough medical and urologic evaluation would be appropriate.
