Probably viral: Hand foot and mouth disease has mouth ulcers, blisters on palms and soles. It is caused by coxsackie virus. Fever may occur in the beginning of the illness. The mouth ulcers clear in 5-7 days. The rash is better in 10-14 days. Pain reliever may make it more comfortable.
