Calf pain: Most likely you are walking on your tip toes and should walk slower with a cane paying careful attention to land on your heel and gently lift off on your toes.

See below: If you have eliminated a clot or phlebitis as a possibility you need to have the area of injury evaluated you may not be walking evenly and this might be the cause for muscular pain in the calf.
