Yes: Yes low testosterone is associated with wieght gain. This does not mean you should take testosterone. The more important issue (if you have low t) is why is your t low in the first place? A high soy diet for example can lower t. Insulin resistance as a result of a high carb/sugar diet can transform your testosterone into estrogen which can most definitely increase fat in your chest. See a good doc.

Gynecomastia: Men with low testosterone have a low ratio of testosterone:estrogen even in the absence of weight gain. As that ratio drops, breast tissue often develops. The process usually stops when testosterone levels are brought back to normal. Please discuss with your doctor if chest fat might be breast tissue. Imperative to know cause of low testosterone for proper treatment. May need endocrinologist.
