Diarrhea: Immodium is not recommended for a child that young. Pedialyte is the best thing you can give your child. Offer him 2oz of pedialyte for every diarrhea stool he has. You can also give him probiotics, the earlier you give probiotics shortens the duration of diarrhea. Avoid high sugar drinks, they tend to make the diarrhea worse.
