I would not: Zyrtec can clog the nose up when you have an infection and you want to open the nose to allow it to drain. I would not use zyrtec. Instead i would use Mucinex (guaifenesin) but not Mucinex (guaifenesin) d which can raise blood pressure. A humidifier or vaporizer can be helpful but keep it clean so it does not brew mold.
