A commercial product: A commercial manufacturer may formulate a cream with natural and chemically produced substances and market it as a diaper cream without rigorous fda testing. Many diaper creams have zinc oxide, vitamin a &d, glycerin or petroleum jelly. Often the purpose of the diaper cream is to separate urine and stool from the baby's skin without fostering irritation or infection on the skin.
