Usually from dryness: The most common cause of blurry vision at work is from dryness. The environment may be dry and also you tears evaporate quickly when you stare at a computer and blink infrequently. Try applying tears, lower the computer screen below eye level, consider a humidifier and take breaks from the computer. If it persists, see your eyemd.

Foggy: Foggy vision may result from eyestrain or from dry eye at the computer. Take a break every 30 minutes to look at something far away out the window to relax your focus. Try some artificial tears, such as theratears or genteal (both over the counter drops). If your symptoms persist, see your local ophthalmologist.

Dry eye: Your eyes are likely drying out during your work activities. Dry eye is very common. I would try artificial tears frequently during the day, ointment at night, warm compresses 1-2 times a day, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. If no improvement, see an eye doctor.
