Dust Mite allergy: Dust mite allergy is an abnormal immune response to the typically benign dust mite protein. Dust mites are present in most houses found in the bedding, carpets and fabrics. The dust mite is microscopic but it's droppings and body parts trigger allergic symptoms in sensitized individuals. Symptoms usually include nasal congestion, discharge, sneezing and eye symptoms. It can trigger asthma at times.
