Maybe, maybe not: Sodas with sugar are ok if occasional (excess sugar is bad). Sodas worsen one's calcium & vitamin d status, so drinking excess soda but little nonfat milk can lead to weaker bones. Soda is acidic like vinegar or citrus fruits. Acidity is bad if one has stomach acid problems. Our body neutralizes acidity so our blood is not acidic (our metabolism & enzymes work normally despite our drinking sodas).
