Pregnancy test: We no longer rely on pregnancy symptoms anymore to determine if someone is pregnant early on. Get a pregnancy test or ask your doctor to order one. Dark discharge could be old blood or infection. Hard to say for sure without visualizing it.

Pregnancy Test Best: A preg test is the best method to determine pregnancy. The discharge could represent many possibilities so it would be best to see your gyn doctor or find a planned parenthood office to see a gyn nurse practitioner.
