Aromatase Inhibitor: Letrozole is a commonly used medicine for the prevention/treatment of certain types of breast cancer. It is a safe medicine. It prevents the conversion of male to female hormones. It is also commonly used now for fertility treatment. It can help ovulation and can help a woman make an extra egg sometimes. It is often used instead of Clomid (clomiphene) for fertility treatment with few side effects.
