No: Noise exposure can lead to hearing loss. Work-related chronic noise exposure is a major risk factor for developing hearing loss. Hearing damage is dependent both on the loudness of the sound and the length of time of the exposure to the sound. Osha has standards for hearing protection at work. The law requires that employers protect their employees hearing based on osha recommendations.
