It can take a while: Tendons receive a relatively poor blood supply, and can take a long time to heal. You need to rest it as much as possible. As hard as it might be, what rests that area better than anything is a non-weight bearing cast, and even this may take a couple of months. Wish i had better news. Good luck and feel better!

Variable: What bone/tendon? Stress fractures can take 6-8 weeks minimum...Give me more info.
