Had surgery 3 yrs ago for paraesophageal hernia. mesh was put in. problems back now. i shake violently starting with spasms. is this due to hernia?

Doubtful: Esophageal spasm doesn't cause violent shaking. I would recommend seeing your primary care doctor. If there is a concern about your previous paraesophageal hernia repair, you should see your surgeon and may need an upper GI contrast study and upper endoscopy to make sure the mesh has not eroded into the esophagus (unlikely).
