Hyperacusis. can it be effected by sinuses. i'm sensitive to white noisewhichever side of my sinuses is pluged the correlating ear is extra sensitive?

Yes: Unfortunately hyperacusis cannot be easily tested of documented. If the nose or sinuses are clogged the ears may feel blocked and therefore hear noises more loudly or distorted. A trial of saline nasal spray and sudafed may be helpful.
