A member asked:

My b12 level is 962 and my dodctor says this is high. can this be bad for me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Is normal...: Unless the lab "normals" (at the lab that ran your bloodwork) is atypical, the level of 962 is considered normal and warrants no concern on your part. B12 deficiency causes anemia, glossitis (tongue inflammation), paresthesias (abnormal sensation), ataxia (lack of muscle coordination). B12 excess is described in animal models and with IV over-feedings but does not constitute disease.
