98.6F: Having dementia does not change what is considered normal body temperature. Normal temperature varies from 97.6 to 99.2 degrees f. During the day. It's lowest in the morning and highest in late afternoon to early evening. Any temperature above 99.4f would be considered a fever. A temperature over 100.2f would be considered a significant fever.
