The hymen is not...: The hymen is not related to becoming pregnant! the sperm just needs to make its way upstream. Since sperm are microscopic in size, the opening in the hymen looks as wide as the grand canyon, to the little sperm happily making his way upstream.

Yes: The sperm are industrious swimmers. If they find a way inside (partial penetration) they are happy to swim through the mucous inside your vagina to fine a fertile egg. If you have menses, your hymen is an open door (lets menses out) and it will let sperm in.
