How does piercing affect my skin health?

Doesn't: If you get the piercing done by someone skilled in proper technique, follows sterile procedure, & uses good quality metals that aren't coated with certain chemicals, then you shouldn't have problems with piercings. You need to keep the area clean, especially the first few days after piercing to avoid infection or granulation tissue. If you see any irritation or discoloration, see your doctor asap.
