See your doctor: A beginning suggestion: see your physician for an evaluation of your problem, to see what may best be done. Several physical illnesses can simulate depression, and those must be checked for. A psychiatrist and psychotherapist can help you, possibly with antidepressant medications -- but definitely with psychotherapy. On your own: consistent exercise & sleep, whole-food meals; 1-2 grams epa/day.

See below: Agree with dr. Pappas. To elaborate: establish routine, schedule, to make your environment more predictable. Self-care routine -- set a times of the day for exercising, hobbies, reading, (doesn't have to be done all at once, but even 15min.), work on me time. Practice relaxation, positive visualizations -- you can find scripts on line or in the library.
