Various: Night sweats have a variety of causes. Some of the causes include infection, sleep apnea, and medication side effects (night sweats can occur when patients take Prednisone or steroids). If your son is experiencing night sweats you should bring this to the attention of the pediatrician so the cause can be determined.

Sweating at Night: Could just be a bad dream, but i would recommend getting this checked out by his pediatrician. This could represent a fever or infection or other serious medical condition.
