I don't like going to places that are loud and crowdy. does this mean that i am depressed?

No.: This may indicate some social phobia that is probably not related to depression. Signs of depression include depressed mood, change in sleep pattern, loss of interest in activities, feelings of guilt/hopelessness, decreased energy, decreased concentration, change in appetite, slowed actions/thoughts, and/or feelings of self-harm, and the symptoms must be present for 2+ weeks.

Probably not.: More likely what is going on is something called agoraphobia, a condition where a person gets very anxious in groups or crowds of people and often has to leave or may not even go if the anxiety is severe enough. Counseling or desensitization training can help clear the problem. Onoccasion the anxiety is so severe that medication is needed.
