Is vitamin really that important for your health?

No: If you eat a healthy, well-balanced, high-quality diet and have no other medical problems, you most likely don't need vitamin supplements. Also, most grains, milk, and table salt is already fortified per usda regulations. However, there are periods in one's life in which extra supplementation of certain vitamins is needed, e.g., pregnancy or chance of getting pregnant. Ask your doctor to be sure.

Vitamins: A good multivitamin is a good idea. It's like an insurance policy for when we don't eat right, don't sleep well, or are especially stressed. Go to a good store or get some guidance because the popular brands are typically very week and not helpful.
