Annual physical: You should see your doctor for an annual physical exam. He or she will have a schedule for appropriate screening tests at different ages but the physical exam is also important. Women should have mammograms, gyn exams with pap screening at intervals, and colonoscopy. Men need prostate cancer screening and colonoscopy. Your blood should be checked periodically (cholesterol, sugar, etc).
