A member asked:

How early is too early to take synthroid (thyroxine) in the morning?

Never too early: Thyroid replacement medications should be taken once daily. It doesn't really matter when during the day you take them--the medications have very long half lives. This means that the drug's level in your body won't fluctuate very much depending on when during the day you take the pill.

Synthroid: As long as it's taken at the same time daily I think synthroid can be taken any time, day or night. Your pharmacist can be helpful in answering questions about your medications.
